MEDX Xelerator Hosts Interventional Radiology Roundtable Discussion Led By World Renown Interventional Radiologist, Dr. Barry T. Katzen

 

OR YEHUDA, Israel –December 16, 2019 — MEDX Xelerator, an Israel-based medical device and digital health incubator, hosted a roundtable discussion led by Dr. Barry T. Katzen, a global interventional radiology leader at the forefront of developing multidisciplinary models for delivering cardiovascular care.

The theme of the exclusive roundtable was “A Look Into The Future” and brought together a group of leading Israeli interventional radiologists for discussions with Dr. Katzen. These health experts discussed the current global state of the field and also addressed the ever-changing needs of both practitioners and patients. The group focused on the expansion of procedure opportunities for interventional radiologists as innovation brings better tools for minimally invasive procedures; the responsibility of the interventional radiologist in the clinical management of patients; and the role of AI and robotics in practice.
